Laof_2025 is a narrative image project from China, documenting the everyday lives, intimate relationships, and inner desires of contemporary Chinese men.

Our lens captures feelings often hidden by society and longings that are hard to name. Each frame is rooted in real life while exploring the edges of fantasy, presenting desire in its many forms.

We seek a careful balance between the private and the public, creating a safer space for emotions and fantasies that are often ignored. Through images, we invite viewers to think about the body, intimacy, and desire in a contemporary context.
